PROFESSIONALIZING HUMAN RESOURCES IN PROCUREMENT MODERNIZATION

Professional human resources is key to successful public procurement, as they are the main drivers of procurement process in various government agencies. Procurement Modernization Project, a partnership between National Public Procurement Agency (LKPP) and Millennium Challenge Account – Indonesia (MCA-Indonesia), has been implementing a series of training for Pilot Procurement Service Units (PSUs) staff to advance their procurement skills.

For the first time, 90 permanent staff of the Pilot PSUs will graduate from Advanced Level of Procurement Skills Training. They have learned 18 modules in 15 weeks of training, which enables them to understand important aspects of modern procurement.
